Megan Kott
Formerly of the duo Chesterfield, Megan set out on her own in late 2001. Playing locally, both at coffee houses and punk rock shows, she impressed crowds with beautiful finger picking and pensive lyrics that tug at the heart strings. A self released cd was complete by the next summer, and her month long tour in 2003 took her from Detroit to the west coast and back, playing at punk houses and zine libraries. Then, just like a Jawbreaker song, she left the Midwest for Oakland, and is currently playing there occasionally.
